Pickguard change?

    I was going to change the pickguard on my left handed Fender MIM Jazz bass. I was thinking on changing it from white (originally on when purchased) to a tortoise shell one. I was wondering if anybody has done this before and could send pictures of if anybody could tell me if it looks right or not.     Let me get this straight. You are looking to see if anyone has ever had a sunburst bass with a tort guard?
