I'm in the process of refinishing an old bass just for fun and I'm wondering if it is possible to refinish the pickguard. It's dull and has lost its lustre and I would rather refinish it than buy a new one since the bass itself is probably not worth the cost of a new pickguard. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
