pickguards

    howdy...i came acroos an older bass and can't seem to find a pickguard for it...im buying blanks and im gonna make my own...any suggestions as to how to go about this?

    Poster board, some pickguard material, a bandsaw, a pencil, and a steady hand.
     
  3. and then once you throw away the last of your pickguard material in frustration, go to http://www.pickguards.com, and send them a tracing of the pickguard you want.

    really easy

    but thats only last resort if you want to try to make your own, its probably a little more than you wanted to spend, but if you are a supporting member here, you get 10% off, since its part of WD music supply, plud you get exactly what you want.

    just remember, LAST RESORT...i am just giving you options.

    how well do u think a dremel would do with cutting and shaping?

    I'm not sure a dremel will do the job. They're not very powerful.
