Playing a festival in a few weeks. Offered back line is either
    Eden wt800 with eden 410
    Or
    SVT Bass Amp

So, i expect everyone will say pick the SVT. My issue is, it's kinda nondescript. No cab info and it could be any SVT, could be unfun. I've sent an email.
We're the 1st act on the 3rd day of a 3 day festival.
Which back line option would you pick if in my shoes?

For me.. would depend on which SVT...
Given I run an SVT7Pro (or used to until I went ampless back in Oct) I'd have to hold out until I knew which SVT :)

It could be the SVT 350 head through a b410. Good idea to email your question, but I would quickly snatch up the Eden setup. :bassist:

Can't answer without knowing the specific amp. Wait for the reply.

Which one fits the style of your music better?

  7. When one says "SVT", they should mean an actual vintage SVT - or at the very least any one of the various 300 watt all-tube amplifiers. But some people haven't gotten that memo, so I'd verify.

    The response I got was
I'll get back to the promoter, who will try to find out from the event people
    However
He did say both amps will be available at the time, so I can choose right then and there.
I would have picked the Eden if I didn't get answers l, just to be safe

I don't think you can go wrong either way.

  11. Eden for me. If it was a heritage or similar then that's a different story. Been burnt by the SVT description before myself.

What bass, and what style of music?
