Picking technique

    anyone know of any good excercises useing a pick, or any bass videos of bassists who use a pick?

    Pick open,1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th fret on E string
    then move down to A
    then D
    Then G then back up.

    Keep going and that helps with your dexterity aswell.

    Obviously, this is pretty simplistic, but try playing the bass line to "I Saw Her Standing There" and getting it super even and smooth like McCartney. It'll wear you down after a while, but it's a really good tune to work on.
