Is it possible to fix-it yourself or even diagnose the actual problem with a "dead" pickup. I bought a Basslines Quarter Pounder Jazz Bridge pickup that was D.O.A. I had a hassle getting it from a dealer...took several months. I've since bought another from Interstate that works fine. I like the pickups very much and have no issue with the manufacturer. My wife says to blow it off and move on (anger management).
    Thanks for any info

you can use an ohm meter to test the resistance if you can find the specs for your model . . .
