Pickup replacement

    What is the best pickup on the market for replacement of a stock USA Fender Jazz pickups? I'm thinking low end rumble with balls like an elephant.

    i'm in the same boat.....cept i've got a mex jazz

    looking into Seymour Duncan Basslines 1/4 pounders or some DiMarzio at the moment.

    somebody else should be able to help though.

    Thank you. I forgot to add mine is a passive bass. The DiMarzio's are popular. They claim to be close to noiseless. The price is great. But with the hundreds of experienced players on the forum I thought I'd ask and see what the consensus it. I use flatwounds and play clean using a GK amp.
