i've got a fretless jazz with a badass 2 bridge on it... i need some new pickups.

gonna be playing...you guessed it, jazz! some prog rock stuff, too.. i basically want something that'll cut through well with a good amount of bite.

I am partial to Bartolini's stuff. I have the single coils in both my fretted and fretless, and couldn't be happier.

What's wrong with the pickups on the bass? Is it a Fender? If so I'd say stick with the stockers.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm also interested in suggestions for a fretless SX J-copy.

I'd love to get some hum cancelling ideas, if anyone has some suggestions.
