I'm new to the whole bass modifaction thing, I just defretted my Yamaha Rbx 170 and I'm looking to spruce it's sound up I want to get a nice warm fretless sounds, I'll be using flatwound strings. Any suggestions? Oh and should I keep my pots set up for front volume, rear volume and master tone? Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Also if anyone knows any sites that has lots of schematics/diagrams for bass wiring could you please tell me them.

    Thanks
