Pickups on Fender '75 Reissue

    The Fender website tells me that the pickups are 75 vintage pickups. My question is do they have the hum similar to the 62 pickups? What makes the 75 pickups different from a 2005 american standards pickups?

    I had that bass. It was real nice and no hum. Haven't played the 62 so I don't know about the hum on that one. But they all hum if the 2 pickup volumes are set at different levels.

    Yes, I'd be interested on finding out about this, I do not see that Fender sells/sold anything called a '75 Jazz pickup set aftermarket...
    and, were there actually differences in the specs between the Jazz pickups made in '62 and the pickups made in '75...???

    Well, whadd'ya know... I wonder what the difference is between the original and 75 pickups, I see nothing on the Fender site...
