So im redoing my squier P-bass, and Im putting in new passive p-bass pickups (to replace the crappy stock ones). Im leaning between the Dimarzio split P pickups, the EMG PHZ's and Passive quarter pounders from Seymour duncan. I want that vintage vibe out of my bass, so what do you guys suggest?

    Fender 62.
  4. get a set of Fender's. They fit them to US vintage and some custom shop models. I have a set around here somewhere that I never got around to fitting. I bought them for this reason. I even have a set of white covers for them :hyper:

    Jason Lollar

    Lindy Fralin

None of the ones you've listed are going to give you the vintage P bass tone the way any of these three will.
