Just get some pickups with a like EMG which have a bar that goes across the pickup instead of seperate poles.

You wont have alignment problems with this as long as the strings arent to close to the pickups edges.

  3. i was going to go that route but im fixing to lose my job so there wont be any money for pickups that are passive with bars istead of pole pieces.

so now the question is... how to measure for re-alignment of the pickups and strings?
