    I've been researching this stuff after it being suggested as a great fretless fingerboard by Rob Elrick. Very pretty wood that's rarely discussed.
    So show some pics of basses with pink ivorywood fretboards (or pickup covers)!

    The bottom of this page has an acoustic with pink ivory FB/headcap/Bridge. Not a bass and not great pics but still an awesome instrument... looks 10x better in real life.

    doesnt that wood "brown" over time? ...and I dont think its a good brown, you might want to check into that...

    Ya, it does get a little bit grimy. Cleans up pretty good with steel wool though.
    But, it sounds amazing as a fretless. Jeez, I miss that Spruce Goose...

    I just had to see what Pink Ivorywood looked like. Hmmm... I like it. It makes me think of Pepto-bismol.

    Here's the 4-string Nordie I just took in on trade. No problem with grimey ivory here.....it's still pristine and sounds/plays awesome.
