Guess you're not gonna end up with a Metro? Actually you seem to be one of those people on this board that'll end up with both and play the hell outta both, quite possibly at the same time :smug: Is the Lakie getting more playtime than that gorgeous Nordstrand?

in as much as I thought the Sadowsky Tokyo was a hell of a fine bass, the Lakland suits me better, It is a lightweight bass that is solid as a rock and dead quiet in the studio. It has that midrange control i cannot seem to live without, and the pickup switching alone brings a lot of versatility to this bass. Laklands are just great workhorse basses, have not disappointed me yet. That gorgeous Nordstrand now belongs to Hman, i have an even MORE gorgeous one coming in about 3 weeks- i learned i really need Ash, Maple and a bolt on design to be happy...check out the link below... and that Ritter is cool! makes me want to put birdseye covers on the Lakie pups, which i though of before and now know would look cool ! and thanks for the undeserved kind words!!

I actually like it with a clear PG as well...What are you planning on, for the final pick of the PG's?

Oh, hey what's up Randy? I stopped by Jim Rubio's for the first time a couple weeks ago....

Definitely the clear! It's what I originally had in mind and think it looks terrific with this bass. The tort is okay though!
