Me with my Reverend Rumblefish:
COOL bass...how does it sound
Thanks! Your bass looks great as well!
Quite good. It has a tone that really cuts through. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's a great bass. They've been compared to Vintage Jazz Basses, but it definitely has a J-Bass-ish sound. The neck is very nice and smooth, and I can get great action! All in all, they're VERY hard to beat in their price range (They sell new for $699 direct from Reverend).
Playing my Cirrus 6.
Playing my Ibanez 6.
Slapping on my Foundation
Here's one of me with my standard Jazz Bass & some other guys.
Another one of me, Standard Jazz Bass & sax player.
are you in a jazz group
Here's one of me & Frankenbass (P-style body & neck w/ one sort of J-style pickup.)
I've since removed the stickers & added a Badass II Bridge.
You may have noticed I lean toward cheap basses; my budget plays a part, but I really love the way these two basses sound!
here's me with my guitarist and my ****ed-up washburn xb-100 about a year ago. i think i was telling him that he sucks.
i don't have any pics of me with my new bass.
it's a punkrock bass who cares how much it cost.....
I play in a bunch of different situations, but no real straightahead jazz. The night that the picture with the sax player was taken I was playing 50s-70s rock with a bunch of 40-something guys--excellent musicians, every one. At 26, I was by far the youngest in that group. I learned a lot.
cool...when I get my upright I'm going to start doing rockabilly and old reggae stuff with it
me and MY rumblefish...
Here's my pic I took of Ed Fuqua, at his birthday bash a couple of days ago... Gosh, what a jam!
