    The P bass is autographed by all the Funk Brothers. It was signed on the night of the release party for Standing in the Shadows of Motown. I really dig the Capri Orange P. It's a Fender Japan 70's reissue.

    It's a Fender Japan 32" scale. It's a really great sounding bass although it has EMGs in it which I haven't gotten around to changing. Amazing resonance and sustain and great build quality.

    I can't believe the funk brothers signed your p-bass man. thats brilliant! its a great DVD too, for those that haven't watched it.

    EDIT: Unless i'm mistaken, i don't see a SINGLE fretless. whats the story?

    Yes, I like Fender style instruments. I've had lots of non-Fender "boutique" basses but keep coming home! Just to clarify, I bought the Funk Bros. P already signed from an LA session bassist. The red Lakland is fretless.

    Man, that is a super nice collection. That P looks a lot like the Duck Dunn signature.
