Well guys, I found this picture of my dads band: The fourmost, they were a dance/rock band from the late 60s. My dad is playing the keyboard(gibson keyboard), and Tommy Blunt is playing guitar. Im not sure about the rhythm section, but they were great from what Ive heard on recordings. Tommy went on to play some sessions and did some touring with some big names, as a backing band gutiarist. Him and my dad just started getting back in contact and are actually going to jam tommorow probably. Im proud of my dad though, he played some really big shows back in the day. I just wish he had a band now, it would make him alot happier. So you guys, show pics of your parents playing instruments. I feel all nostaligic.. and cool now.
muhahaha! Yeah..they started the emo trend.. =X actually after that Tommy(guitarist) got a gig with Albert King.. Hmm.. cool. The bassist killed himself I think and nonone cares about the drummer =X
My father was in a band in Montreal in the 70's - they were called "All The Young Dudes", or just "The Dudes" for short. He played drums. They did put out one album on CBS records however the producer totally hacked it and it flopped. They did, however, open for the Bee Gees when they hit Montreal during their tour when the Dudes were big at the time! Not bad. --jeff
