Pictures of Sunburst Basses With Black Pickguards?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by KeithBMI, Apr 28, 2006.

  1. I think the title says it all. I'm going to change the tort pickguard of my sunburst Fender Jazz to a black one. I know, I know, bad idea, but I really think it will make it look more "rock" ;)

I just ordered a black one, so can I get an idea of what it will look like?

I just did the same with my precision bass and I love it. It just looks more smooth in my opinion. I'ts only a bad idea if you really don't like it and do it because someone else says you should. Go for it!!!

My fretless from Rondo. I haven't really done anything to it except change the pickguard from a white one and changed the bridge to a Gotoh - and tuned it BEAD.
