Piezo Bridge?

I bought a used Piezo bridge from an '80s Jackson on ebay, and it is not in very good condition. Only one saddle seems to be complete - it has a dark black hard plastic bit that the string rests on, a squarish piezo element under that, and the output wire. I know about the squarish element because two other saddles are missing the hard plastic bit. The last saddle is missing both the hard plastic bit and the squarish element. All output wires are present (not long, but present).

Replacing the hard plastic bit doesn't seem too tough, but the missing piezo element has got me stumped. Any ideas on how to replace this without having the new element sounding different than the original ones?

Also, assuming I can ever get this going, does anyone besides Bartolini make a bass piezo preamp?
