They have their flaws, but I'm a pretty big Pigtronix fan. The EP-1 and Echolution in particular are great pedals IMO. That said, I've heard the Mothership wasn't good on bass, but I wasn't even impressed with it on guitar based on that video.

  3. Oh, I completely agree that it was underwhelming. That's most of the reason I posted it.

The only feature on the mothership that I really want is the glide. I could do some awesome s*($ with a glide effect, even though I didn't like how he used it in the demo.

I expected it to sound worse than it does, but my main beef is it doesn't seem like a very coherent set of features. Why the ring mod? I'd rather have two oscillators and no ring mod. Or a filter.

The pitch bends sound good, and the suboctave sounds really good, but it's too big a box to use as an octave down. Didn't like the sound of the square wave and it's a bit disappointing that there's no pulse width adjustment for the waveforms.

I was thinking the same thing about the pulse width

    But why no sine waveform?

I guess they're big on custom mods, but for $600 why have to mod?

I keep wondering if they'll bother with the Fathership or not - I would imagine that it would offer a slightly different set of options/sounds more suited to bass.
