Vaporware at the moment, but what a ****ing good idea.
it looks pretty cool, although the naughty bass sample sounds a lot like my DOD FX25B envelope filter...
Yeah, though the guitar samples better suggest the possibilities for the pedal. . . .
does sound very cool!
my pigtronix serial number 9 arrived saturday!
what an AWESOME pedal!!!
this thing sounds stereo when connected in mono...
i currently have been playing with it on one side and then having a elctro harmonix bass microsynth in the other side...
the pigtronix pedal is VERY awesome!
i have the expression pedal that pigtronix makes for the EP-1 as well...
real slick! and usable!!! i could get away with taking this to any type of gig...
you gotta try one out!
any chance for sound samples or more description of the pedal? SN9 -- pretty cool.
--JES, who loves a good phaser
i will do some sound samples but it will take me a couple of weeks...
Was looking at an effects pedal on the WWW a few days back that was a combined phaser and envelope filter, problem is I can't remember what it was called and I've lost the link to the site. I remember it being a blue pedal and victor wootens name was mentioned as a user. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? ('cos I don't! )
you mean the pigtronix?
Yep, thats the baby!
Thanks for that, much appreciated, now just gotta work out where I can get one from!
skeet skeet skeet!
Hey did anybody else notice that their sample under Envelope Phase called Resonance Groove is Guelah Papyrus by Phish!!!
Right on - I wonder if Trey knows about this?
This is the work of the guelah papyrus
Stranded for a moment on the ocean of Osyrus
Absorbing all she can for every member of her clan
Expanding exponentially like some recursive virus
maybe trey uses one
Anyone else used this? Does anyone have a comoparison to a min-q tron? THat's what I'm using and I'm guessing this blows it out of the water, but thought I'd ask.
I have an EP-0 and am waiting for my EP-1 to arrive. It's a way cool pedal [since Dave and I designed it I'm allowed to say things like that ]. Here's a link to a thread on the Harmony Central forum that goes into more detail:
The big difference between the EP-0 and EP-1 is that we changed the Dry Out to Trigger In. This is notable for bass players as it lets you trigger the EF with an external source such as micing the kick drum, so you can really lock in.
I have one for sale in the classifieds.
