Pimped Out Peaveys - Belated NBD x2

Got both of these within the last couple months and because I felt like a struck gold with both of them, I did some gold hardware mods. I had another Black Fury with a rosewood board a few years ago and made the mistake of selling it, but won't let that happen again. They sound great (stock pickups and electronics), play unbelievably well and are nice and light - 7.5lbs for the Axcelerator and 8.5lbs. for the Fury. The Axcelerator is perfectly balanced with the Resolites, the Fury a bit headstock heavy so the nice brass ABM bridge and brass knobs keep it balanced well with the Ultralites.

 

I thought about a black guard as I've always liked the all black/maple look as well and had a couple p-basses like that. I would have to get one made as they are hard to find but for now I like the off-white guard. Thought about a creme pickup cover too. Maybe for fun later on down the road.

Thanks! They are out there, sometimes when you're not even looking. Sort of how I got the red one. Wasn't even in the market for a 4-string but had a trade offer - that led to wanting the Fury.
