Okay, so the time has come to upgrade my defretted Squier Jazz Standard.
I'm buying Bartolini pickups and I'd like a new bridge too (do I need one by the way?) which fits a bridge cover. I know BadAss II doesn't. Should I go with a standard Fender one or it's fine if I leave the stock ones?
What should I do electronic-wise? The knobs work well but there's hiss when I turn them and they don't change volume smoothly rather in steps.

    Thanks in advance

+1 I'd wait until you have installed the pickups first. Sometimes bridge changes don't make a whole lot of difference.

I think Gotoh makes a bridge that fits under a bridge cover
