    Hey,

I'm curious about what a good setup looks like for TI flats. Measurements will change from bass to bass, player to player but I figured it would be interesting to see how Fender sets up the Pino bass from the factory as that bass seems to be somewhat of gold standard. Anyone have any measurements they can share?

Nope. Get to the suggested specs with those strings on, and you'll have a factory setup bass.

Maybe. In my experience of using the strings I've wanted to go quite a bit higher than the factory recommended set up whereas usually I go a bit lower. I think it's quite plausible that Fender use those specs but I'm curious to hear from people that have owned one to see if Fender adjust them for this particular bass.

I understand your curiosity, and while I don't believe it to be the case, in your shoes I'd fire off an email to Fender customer support. I've done that in the past for questions as specific as asking about output levels of their various pickup models, and have received detailed responses within a few days that went above and beyond the standard info listed on packaging/marketing materials.

I say give it a shot.
