WOW! Two reasons why he is an all-time great!
Pino is obviously a great player. The coolest thing about Pino is that other great bassists admire him because his lines are so perfect. Like Anthony Jackson, Pino Pallidino truly knows how to play bass.
That little video talking about “Wherever I Lay My Hat is Home,” is great. It is also a reminder that no matter how much talent a player has, there needs to be some luck involved to make the big time.
Yes, he deserves and receives that type of respect!
I agree! Amazing how he downplayed his greatness!
"...and a little out of tune..." Wow.
That just let’s know how good his ears are to compared to the average Joe or Josephine.
nah still don't like the mwah
Too me it shows that he is a perfectionist, and that's what makes him great!
The truly great ones are never really satisfied or are always willing
It was Get Here being a pop hit in my community than so made a bigger impact among the masses than Jaco did inside of the musicians and jazz community. Pino at the 2 minute mark brought that whoa, what, who is that comments
I didn’t know that was Pino. His playing is exquisite, and his voice on fretless is unique!
