Hi i`m after a Precision 5 string with a jazz pickup at the bridge. Also i`d prefer a 34" scale. The Fender deluxe is great but i`m not sure about that dbl jazz at the bridge. Mike Lull makes a nice one but it`s 35". For makers that seems to be about it ? Any more suggestions ?
    Cheers.

I heard that Lakland is supposed to be coming out with a P/J Glaub 5 (US version) this Summer at some point with a Skyline version to follow at a later date.

    I'm saving my pennies.

Hmmm. Roger should have his Metro PJ5's out by next year. I think.

  13. I really, really cannot get around the body shape of those instruments. They look... 80s?

I like the ones Chris Benavente makes! 34" scale. I ordered my 5 with a pair of Jazz pickups... couple others have PJ set ups.

  15. I now play a Yamaha BB1000 4-String and I can't praise it enough. I imagine the 5-String would be just as nice. Wide tonal range with the P/J combo 3-way switch and tone control.

To me, its the crappy looking metal brackets around the pups.

    *cringe*

  17. They actually look a whole lot better in person. In pictures they look "gray" but they are actually chromed.

It's not "blingy" at all -- it adds a very nice touch of class!

  18. The one I have is actually the BB1000MA in "sea foam green" it is actually a greyish - gun metal color and the chrome accents blend rather well. I have never been one for signature series basses, but this one is not like the BB3000MA with all the chili peppers on it but it has the same color scheme with the red neck inlays.

If I could only break the space-time-continuum and make next year right now, oh how you would all salivate at the pics in amazement of my cosmic, reality-bending GAS for a Sadowsky PBass metro!!!!
