This is a picture of my Midnight Wine PJ5 I took last week at Pat Wilkins shop. You can see the damage area under the pickguard. Can't wait for it to be finished (about 3.5 weeks or so).

Thanks man. It has already been over a month since I bought it and I have never played it. Held the body that day. 3.7 lbs. SO LIGHT. I had a huge grin on my face!

That is interesting how they do the route such that you can install the P pickup in either configuration. I would presume, then, that if you bought a P/J "reverse", and you wanted to switch it to a "standard", you (meaning Roger and his crew) could just install a new pickup and pickguard. Nice!

Mike, are you sticking with the same color?

    Tom.

    Yeah same. Color.

Not only can you flip-flop the P pickup BUT it looks like you could easily drop a J in there too.

  6. That's awesome! Looking forward to the refinish, and I'm sure you're dying to get your hands on it.

I found a cure for Sadowsky GAS but you gotta buy a few of them for it to subside. ;)
