Today i went into the Sadowsky shop to place an Order for my Next 5 string, i just sold and shipped my Tokyo 5 this morning so i wanted to get right in their and get the ball rolling on my new one since i am with out a Sadowsky right now :bawl: .I would have loved to have both but i could only afford one. Here are the specs

Highly Figured Quilt Maple over Swamp Ash Chambered Body.
JJ Configuration with VTC Control. Greenburst Finish I am so excited i will finally have an awesome GREENBURST bass :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:. Maple Fingerboard , Black Hardware , Pearliod Pickguard.

Their is the possibility depending on the Quilt top i pick in the next few weeks as to if this will be a Standard 5, i really like the vintage look but it might be a sin on this bass to cover up the top.I also heard chrome might look better with Greenburst then black i will have to reflect on this as well, what do you think. Here is the type of Greenburst i asked Roger to use for my bass.

I've loved that body (and the purple version) forever! your bass will be totally sick! I think both chrome and black would look excellent but I think I'd go chrome... As for the pickguard I think a half guard would look pretty cool, maybe in black pearloid or just about anything other than white or white pearloid. And you could always get a clear guard too.

EDIT: tell me there will be block inlays on that!

Wow, that green burst body is beautiful!
It just screams for a maple fingerboard to go with it.

Hmm, I think I'd also go with chrome over black for the hardware.

thats a shame, it'll still be killer! Oh and what's the wait time on this thing?

That green burst finish is beautiful. Congratulations! I hope the wait is not long, though I'm sure the anticipation will be agonizing as the date draws near. :D

I'm personally partial to the burgundy burst model that's on the website under "recently sold" (#4253), which is, IMO, the best looking Jazz bass I've ever seen. :)
