Here's the one I'm looking at; the white one (USB? What does that stand for anyway...).

So for all of you CIJ Fender owners out there, what online stores did you use, if any, and were they reliable? How much are shipping costs?

    Thanks in advance!! :)

    You can try here: http://www.ishibashi-music.com/
It's in Japanese, but if you scroll down to the english translated pages, it's still japanese, but when you put your cursor over a tab, an english translation pops up. Second tab from left on top is for... guitars and "base". Haven't dealt with them personally, but I've heard alot of people praise the quality and price of what they offer. Emailing them is best. Can be a little difficult to get around that site, but I understand it's well worth it.
If you google "currency converter", you can get a US dollar to yen conversion to get an idea of what it will cost.

    Good Luck.

i got my fender aerodyne from them and have been checking them out for gear i cant get in my own place.

    they have top-notch service.really top-notch.

the english translated page for the CIJ basses are here

note that you do not need to pay the 5% sales tax. its a japan domestic thing only.

you might also wanna check out the KANDA order page. KANDA refers to catalogue in japanese if i m not mistaken. they offer you pretty much the more options and variations of different basses.

oh yes. dont hesistate to ask more about the stuff. they are really nice guys and have alot of other gear that they dont retail online.
  4. I got a Tele from Ishibashi a few years ago. It is an excellent guitar and the experience was excellent also.

Another vote for Ishibashi. I just got my P '57 reissue from them with no problems at all. Living in the general geographical area also meant it took a grand total of 3 days to process and ship my order to my door
