played a fender p with mm bridge pu?

    That's something I actually have been considering doing to my P for a while now.
     
  3. What you played was probably a Fender American Deluxe bass
    the pickup is not an actuall MM pickup, but something like it.

  5. no im talking about getting an american usa P BASS without a jazz pickup or anypickup for a bridge pickup i was talking about adding a mm bridge pickup, i would rout it etc

    Have a look at Sandberg Guitars, they offer the California PM and JM in that configuration. Tried one in a shop in Germany and these basses are great groovers and I'd prefer them in a rock band setting though they deliver a covincing slap/pop tone also. Sandberg uses Delano p/ups.
