  1. Yeeeeeeeeeks!

that and the Marcus Sig are a couple of the finest Jazz basses i've ever played.

    the GL especially.

    and for $629, not bad.

VEEEEERYYYYYY tempting. now i want to try a Jaco Fretted!

  2. I tried a sting and a GL at a store the other week.

Just, not my speed. But this was at store levels, through unfamilar gear. The sting bass felt/sounded better. Very wierd huh.

Now the 55-01 skyline.....I can't go back there. I'll do something stupid to my bank account.
  3. i tried a Sting too.

didn't do anything for me at all.

    thank goodness for variety!

  4. Exactly man. I tend to have a wide taste, but some things leave me cold. Very few production basses strike my fancy anymore. I guess I look for a overall value most of the time..
  5. Let me guess, you went to Sam Ash on Beach Blvd.

I played a GL when I was up in Manhattan over the holidays. Those guys take care of their equipment up there and it was setup perfectly and played like butter. I was very impressed.

I am now torn between trying for a GL or getting a Warwick Corvette fretless from a local store. I still have a week until payday to make that difficult decision thankfully.

IMO, the Fender Geddy Lee is the best production bass Fender makes!!!!!
