Played a Goliath III this weekend

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by GrooveDude, Mar 4, 2002.

  1. Had to say that I was very impressed. I have been wanting to try one out, but none of the local Music Stores had one in stock. So I went to our Musicians Friend outlet, and they had one that had a dented grill. It was LOUD!!!! And very sweet sounding. Luckily I just settled a deal with a guy to buy one at a great price. I'm sure he is on here

I'll let you all know when I get it then I'll post some pics of my rig!

The Goliath III is now available in 4 ohms!!!

Even louder than that is the new SWR 12-Stack!
  3. where did you hear this at??
  4. couldnt find any ino on the 12 stack, or the 4ohm Goliath III. I went to the products page.....infact I go there almost everyday. Maybe it remembers my cookies, and doesnt let me see the updated page.

I'll delete my folders and see what happens
  5. it's a good idea to toss your cookies on a regular basis......(tee-hee);)

man...now with that 4 ohm goliath jr available...it's a serious question in my mind - do i sell the jr and triad and get a sr, or a 4 ohm goliath?!

i'll say it again though, if the 12-stack had a horn, i'd have one on order right now.

  7. where in KC are you located Mark??

    I'm in Independence
  8. I'm in LeeSmut (Lee's Summit). Hi neighbor.

Where do you play? I'll come see you. My sole gig is church, we meet at the Eastglen theaters on Douglas in LS Sunday mornings. For a church, we ROCK! really. (covered Badfinger yesterday!)

We can take this to a PM if we need to, Mr. Moderator.
