Well, it was kind of a show. A local radio station holds an electric open mic night here. All sorts show up..dudes with acoustic guitars, incomplete bands (2 guitarists and a drummer who sound like a mix of hendrix, sabbath, and funkadelic...minus the bass)

They provide the drum kit and a couple of guitar amps, but of course no bass amp. I had no problem with this because I would have brought my own gear anyways. The guitarists ended up feeling the same way because instead of Fender and Marshall 2x12s which they're used to the ended up having to play through a couple of dinky Marshall SS 1x12s.

Anyway. We're given 15 minutes, which ended up being 3 songs. It went really well and we got a good response. We're using it as a way to get our feet wet and may go back again next week since we have an actual booked show on the 12th and it'll be good rehearsal.

Cool. Sounds like it went well. Welcome back to the "gigging" world.
