what do the x's mean? hit the string open? but then, why not make em all 0? (0-0-0-0-0-0)
or do the x's mean rest?

    thank you,

x is no real note, it's a percussive sound. Hit the string while muting the note.

  3. like a dead note? do i mute it with the palm of my playing hand?

Lightly touch the string with your fretting hand while you slap it with your other hand.

  5. thank you.

for others who are also learning this, heres something I noticed: use more than one finger to mute it, because sometimes you can get false harmonics.
