Please Identify my bass

    This might sound like a stupid question, but a couple of weeks ago another TB'er mailed and asked what wood my bass is made of. It's a Warwick Corvette 5string (serial number: G-050926-98), plays great etc, but I have no clue about the wood..I inserted some pics (best I could find), they are a bit blurry, but I hope the "wood-connaisseurs" here can help :)



    edit; don't mention the wrong tecnique, thats pretty much corrected nowadays.

    I believe thats the swamp ash model.
