Hello, I am a guitar player but I need help with a bass. I was told this is a MIM Standard body. I don't see the little
circular routs that typically are in Mexican Stratocasters. I am thinking that this is a MIM Squire. Any information would be helpful.

    TIA

  3. We have a 2007 MIM Deluxe Jazz in our shop and I removed the pickguard the other day our of curiosity and the routes are like the one in your photo.

looks mim to me, with extra holes drilled into it.
check the length of the bridge pup route, this may reveal some info.

  5. There appear to be holes drilled for a bridge cover - about three attempts at them.

Thanks for the responses. The bridge pickup rout has been lengthened to 3 3/4". Look at the picture and you will see that the pickup rout has been lengthened. I hope this helps.

The width of the body is 1 5/8". What seems odd to me is the lack of circular rout in the neck pocket.
