Plush P1000S

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by swassguy, Dec 11, 2003.

  1. My friend has a Plush P1000S head (not with him right now, or we would just look) and we were wondering how many outputs it had and what the ohm rating on each was.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  2. I think that amp is just like my old Earth amps. They had (2) output jacks, the first was 8 ohms and the second switched the output tap over to 4 ohms. So you could plug in (2)8 ohm cabs. The first jack is a shorting type, so you can't just plug in a single 4 ohm cab. I modified mine so I could run either 4 or 8 ohms by adding an impedance selector switch.

  3. I finally got a look at his and it needs some work - he said that he used to play through it but it doesn't even have a standby switch anymore - there's just a hole. The tubes look fried as well.

I think I might try to fix it... and then give up and take it to my amp guy!
