Poco song

  1. I know, it's not probably requested much but I need to find the tabs for Poco's "Rose of Cimmaron". I found one site that has the guitar's chords utilizing a capo but it doesn't sound right unless I'm transcribing it wrong, which is very possible.
I'm just trying to go with the guitar chords and move up 2 frets but I don't think it's right. If someone figures this out could you please list the notes for the bass please. I just need to figure out what note corresponds to the capo chords. I hope this made sense. Below is the guitar tab.

    Thanks.

OK, assuming the changes in the link are right, the bass notes would be as follows (indicated guitar chord/bass note).

    E is F#
    A is B
    B is C#
    G is A
    Emin is F#min

If that's what you're playing and it doesn't work, then I don't know what to tell you. I suppose it's possible that the "Capo Fret II" means that they use a capo at the 2nd fret, but are still playing chords that SOUND E, A, B, etc. while playing shapes for D, G, A, etc. But that's a really weird way to notate it.

  3. Thanks. I'll give it a try in a little bit.

  4. I just tried it. It seems to work. Thanks for the help.
