I hope this is not a fellow Tb'r ex-girlfriend selling his Carl Thompson. Very unfortunate, but what a Great deal if sells close to the starting bid. http://cgi.ebay.com/Carl-Thompson-B...oryZ4713QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I wouldn't wanna be with any chick who sells a CT after heartbreak. On that note, the ex is gonna be in for a broken heart too once he finds out this thing is gone.
A woman scorned creates an eBay seller's account expressly to sell her ex's bass, which he happened to leave behind when they broke up and also happens to be one of the most expensive electric basses in the world? I'm surprised I didn't see the Brooklyn Bridge when I clicked on "view seller's other items."
I hate it when people post a sob story along with their ebay auction. Get ready for an onslaught of "My kids are a bunch of a-holes, so I'm selling all their xmas gifts" auctions.
I totally agree that it might be a scam, but she's accepting Paypal, which is good, and the Ebay account was created back in June, not a few days ago. I think it would be worth checking out, as long as you're local to the seller.
I just now used the Ask Seller a Question to ask her "Can you post a picture of yourself posing with the bass? "
I found this cruising through ebay and thought it looked mighty fishy. An ex-boyfriend would NEVER leave such a nice bass, plus she has a zero feedback. http://cgi.ebay.com/Carl-Thompson-B...oryZ4713QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
