So im looking to get my 1st 5-string... at last...

was wondering what people might suggest in terms of this
(id get the 5-string version of my Ibanez but how borin would tht be!)
I love small/medium body, LONG FAT neck basses (loved my Aria for the body/neck sizes aswell ofcourse my Ibanez) with double soap or HB.

so what im really asking is who does long, wide neck basses with medium/small body..
I was looking at the Cort Curbow (not the widest neck iv seen tho) but all i hear is that the fretboards come unstuck.
    Thinking an Aria IGB35/5...
(oh yeh... price range no more than £400...)

    Chrz all! :D

I don't know but I don't see anything wrong with getting another Ibanez, if you like the 4 string you have, go for the 5. You can always get a different color, pups and so on.

    just my 2 cents,
    Todd :)

Your description matches that of a Schecter Custom 5. Light weight too.
