i think i have something bad wrong with me...i've been having this urge to go out and buy pointy basses of the bc rich persuasion. i've really been checking out the warlocks...i gotta have one...but i saw this guy with a bass with the ignitor body shape. man, i really gotta have that. with a widow headstock please :D other pointy basses i'd like to check out are maybe something in a six string flying V...then there's always that claw bass that ron blake built. am i weird? why don't i like j basses and warwick thumbs any more? what's up with this pointy thing i'm going through? :(

I have 2 Warlocks. I say if you want one then buy one. Just dont buy anything less than an NJ series. Thats advice from experience.

  6. of all the pointy basses I'd go with the Warwick's Vampyre or Buzzard

  7. Alright big fella', slowly back away from the check book.

Don't forget to wear your safety goggles, you could poke an eye out with one of those things.

thanks for the safety advice, there, roark :D

for me to get an ignitor bass, i would have to go to the usa custom shop...i've tried out a couple el-cheapo riches...it's kinda hit and miss with those...i bet i could get greg curbow or bill conklin to build me an ignitor...that way i could get a quality bass AND it would be shaped like a halberd :D

and the buzzard bass is really sweet, but i think i like the status buzzard better than the warwick version.

  9. I just confirmed shipment on my Warlock Supreme(which I just found out is handmade B.C. Rich stuff) I'm complettely psyched about it...I'm gonna get it a nice coffin case for it's resting place...I'll make sure to post how the monster sounds...It's a looker, so I've been told(and think myself)...I don't blame you for wanting a pointy bass!
