Bogdan's new creation is another great sound that will make everyone happy. It's a very warm fuzz almost like a modern day Jumbo Tonebender. It looses no low end but actually can dangerously add lots of low end! Be careful with that tone knob at gigs!

The switch is supposed to be a input cap. selector. It's interesting...Mentioned in the Mephisto's intro thread, the switch can make the fuzz have a "cold" or "warmer" sound to the mix.

Another thing I like is that if you turn the gain all the way down, there's no distortion, something the AYBRB2U pedal did not have.

So if you're looking for a really warm fuzz, drop bogdan a line at bogus411( at )wp.pl

    Here's some soundclips:

This clip, you can hear in the middle where I turn the gain all the way down and boost the tone knob. Soo much low end :bassist:

Sounds great! Especially that I prefer bright fuzzes. I've heard that toggle switch was mounted only in prototypes. Is that right?

We are waiting for more samples. That would be great if you could play over one riff with different settings.

Not sure if it's only for prototypes, that's what i heard as well.

I'll do that in my next clip.

And the pedal could be 95$ like all the other pedals. Drop bogdan an email to check :)

    seems pretty interesting.

  11. Sounds all right. Cool that you can cancel out the distortion... but that "All Your Bass" tonebender clone that Bogdan decided he doesn't like was more my kinda fuzz...

Don't for a second think you have something over me.

  15. well, we know at this point he just does clones, so it's a fair question.

Myself, I'd buy a standard messdrive for this kind of "mellow" fuzz.

I'm unsure why people get so coy about stuff like this. I generally find myself pretty curious about 'innards'. I rarely CARE if something is a based on another pedal, or a clone of an out of production pedal... but it's good for reference.

What I generally don't want to buy is a pedal that is ripping off a currently manufactured pedal straight-up. I'd rather send my cash to the first guy (or buy used).

  20. +1

Bogdans pedals are well made but I would rather buy off of the designer
