I have some minor scratches on the back of the neck of a new guitar with nitrocellulose finish. Can these be polished out with some ease? What agents would be advised?

    Thanks for the advice!

3M makes a product called Finesse-it II finishing material that can be found at automotive finishing stores and is like magic in a bottle. I've been using it for years on my basses and my car. It's best used with an undyed lint-free cloth of some kind. I've used cheese cloth and microfiber cloth, both with excellent results.
