Political Compass Test.....Cool!

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by baba, Jan 24, 2003.

  1. Where do you stand? Take the test! It's only a few questions.....

I'm in the middle of the bottom left quadrant.

I'm right on the negative x-axis, about halfway to the extreme left.

Pretty interesting. 3 lines down and left of the center, kind of close to Ghandi (a little to the right actually).

  5. I'm a little bit down from Ghandi...hmmm...I feel smarter...wait, no I don't.

I'm exactly two lines to the left of the center axis and am sitting dead on the the left - right line.

Libertarian left, barely off dead center (surprised?). The questions are pretty leading IME though, and kinda UK-ish. Americans don't think much about "globalisation." We're fine here. The rest of you can do whatever the hell you want. ;)

4 lines down and 5 lines to the left.

    Not far from Ghandi.
  9. I've taken the test before, im 7 lines over and 7 lines down from the center.
  10. That's right about where I was.
  11. 3 down, and 1 right, which is no surprise.

I found a question that made me think

Do you think that businessmen and manufacturers are more important then artist?

It took me a few minutes, but I actually agreed. *shruggs*
  12. I'm dead centre in the Left/Libertarian quadrant, and a little more left wing than I thought I was. :D
Actually, I'm not as left wing as that lets on. I consider myself closer to center, but I'm pretty liberal.
  13. Some of the questions were definitely leading, and on a few of them I neither agreed nor disagreed, but, there was no option for this.

In any case, I came out near Stalin.

The rest of you...up against the wall and put on your blindfolds! :p

...I agree with MJ, there should have been a 5th option, a more "neutral" one for these questions. I was not very committed to either a positive or negative response for several questions.

For the record: 4 down, 1 left.

I matched up with Ghandi, but one point down. Take it for what it's worth.

    3 left, almost 5 down

i'm a little more liberal than i thought, but with the addition of a 'meh, i don't care' option i think i would have been closer to the senter.

    I'm a right wing authoritarian, grid (2,2)
  19. I wound up a bit to the right and dead on the horizontal line. Does that make me a centrist?
  20. I'm at (-0.88, -2.46) in the fourth quadrant. Sweet.
