I would feel fairly safe in gettin a neck thru. I have confidence that the necks are of high enough quality to not get totally messed up.

  3. I'm going to go with 4 bolt. My 4 string is a 4 bolt and the neck is just dandy, no problems with it coming loose or anything.

Neck binding is the colored plastic surrounding the perimiter of the neck, like on a Vintage Jazz, or a Rickenbacker...

  5. I know, sorry, I had just read a thread discussing neck bindings so I must have gotten confused. Is joint a correct term for this?

  6. hmmm it seems that no one else is making these polls. if this isnt going to workout...then we should just stop, but can people actually make some of the other polls i suggested in the megathread. string spacing, headstock, etc
