Think about it - it seems like a perfect match. But what would they call the band? The Rabid, Foxy Grandparents? The Diseased-Yet-Still-Attractive-Octogenarians?

    The possibilities seem endless...

    :D

(ummm, this hasn't been done yet, has it?)

  2. how about "the secretly-rabid, foxy, donkey-riding, grandpas"?

  3. DIBS ON BASS!

    You're stuck on guitar, gramps!

For the record, rides on this donkey are free for girls, but prohibitively expensive for guys! :D

  5. But why?

You could both play bass! Just don't have any guitars! I mean, who in heck needs guitars? And two basses..... why not three? All you need is a drummer. Or two. Yeah, why not two? That way, you can have kick ass beats, and if at least one of you slaps at the same time.... man, it'd be bitchen'!

    *ahem* ;)

  6. Well.. gramps already plays drums and guitar....so....

Team 'em up with a drum machine named "Chester" and you've got one unstoppable duo! I say go for it!

hey, how bout someone grabs a distortion pedal and tears it up that way while the other holds down the fort with the non-distorted grooves? add a drummer or drum machine and all g*****ists will be put to shame. THAT is the kind of band I want to be in...yaaa....fat chance that it would ever happen tho....o well...

am i the only one here that likes the sound of guitars?

i mean, nice sounding guitars, not heavy-distorted insanely-detuned guitars.

  10. I like guitars played with boat oars. Possibly by whacking it against an old oil barrel!

I haven't seen Nick around too much :( But I hear that drumming gig he got was pretty heavy, so maybe he's a rockstar now. :bassist:

  13. Wha...? I've been posting more than usual lately but I've only been complaining about my drummer.

I had an amazing practice yesterday. I had prepared a list of practice rules for my drummer and was ready to flip out / vent on him but he nailed every song. Made the occasional error but for the most part was solid and everything that I expected him to be. Saved me the trouble of threatening to leave the band or kick him out. I gave him the practice rules anyways. I'll flip out on him at the next rehearsal, just to reinforce good practice habits in him.

    But more importantly:

:bag: My faith in humanity has been restored. :bag:
