I have a Portabass PBC2112 and would like to know if anyone has ever removed the head from one of these combos. If so, is it completley enclosed? Can it be rackmounted with the proper hardware?

    Thanks in advance,

The chassis is enclosed, but I think it would be a PITA to rack mount, as it was not designed to rack.

The front panel is shorter than rack width, and wasn't designed to support the unit in a rack.
There is a rear panel extension on each side that would have to be dealt with.

We do not make any standard conversion hardware for that unit.
Essentially it isn't designed nor intended for rack mounting, but it wouldn't be impossible to do.
