Posiflex Neck Support Rods

  1. When did Fender start incorporating this technology on Signature Series Basses?

    They've been using the carbon fiber rods on all standard-run MIA basses for a few years now. That probably (but not necessarily) means the sig basses also.

    It's not on all Fender signature series basses, many of which are MIM (e.g., Sting, Hoppus) and MIJ (Geddy Lee). I think it's only on the MIA signature models, like Roscoe Beck, Victor Bailey, and the Custom Shop Reggie Hamilton. And it's also on the American Series and American Deluxe Series.
     
  4. thanks. you guys are right. i checked the frontline 2005 and 2004 catalogue and it says it comes standard on MIA models and MIA sig models. but do you guys know or remember when they started this?
