Help! I have drilled the holes for my fret markers too deep. They are about .020" too deep. Can I glue in a shim? Should I try and build it up with epoxy? I need some guidance, please.

Or just a sliver of wood. The dots aren't exactly load bearing, so anything that makes them sit at the right height should be fine.

Cut little circles of paper (or whatever shape) that fit into the holes and put them in till the markers sit at the right height. Then glue as you normally would.
