Thinking of buying a cheap squire Jazz from ebay as a second bass.

The only thing that bugs me is that one of the frets looks strange.

The first fret looks odd. I'm guessing it's just a reflection from the flash but would like to be certain. What is it?

Why don't you ask the owner?

Only one that knows is the owner.

It looks nice otherwise though. Why not buy a new SX?

I'll probably do that and see if I can get him/her to email me a pic of the first few frets.

I'd buy an SX if it wasn't for delivery costs. The only place I have found them at good prices and that will ship to the UK is Rondo Music and it costs £50 for shipping (half the price of the actual bass!)

Ive that exact same Squier, and just wanted to let you know its a pretty good bass for the money. The standard series seems to be overlooked (probably because the QC on them isnt as consistent as with the VM or CV series), but mines a real good player. There's alot of bad ones out there so be careful.
